What’s The Pho is a straightforward Vietnamese restaurant nestled in the Larkfield Center of Larkfield-Wikiup, serving up classic pho alongside a range of noodle dishes and fresh rolls. It’s the kind of spot where the kitchen’s focus on hearty, authentic flavors comes through clearly—their steak and brisket pho is a solid go-to for anyone craving a warming bowl of rich broth and tender meat.

The atmosphere here leans toward casual and comfortable with an inviting brightness from hand-picked plants and vibrant local artwork decorating the walls. It’s a welcoming environment that suits solo lunches, family dinners, or a laid-back meal with friends. On quieter afternoons, you’ll find that the restaurant maintains a clean, uncluttered vibe that makes it easy to settle in and enjoy the food without distraction.

The menu offers a nice variety beyond pho, including garlic butter noodles with pork that bring a satisfying savory twist. The smoked salmon rolls and crispy tofu provide lighter options, while the buffalo chicken wings and coconut shrimp & fries carve out enough diversity for groups with mixed tastes. Those who appreciate a carefully curated drink to accompany their meal will find Vietnamese black coffee and Thai iced tea among the beverages, which complement the dishes well and round out the experience.

Customer service here tends to be attentive and quick, with staff who create a familiar, almost familial feel that encourages repeat visits. Portions are generous and well packaged if you’re in for takeout, making this a reliable choice for bringing home a filling dinner or picking up a lunch that travels well.

The food is delicious. My favorite is the banh mi sandwich. it is one of the best sandwiches I have had at a Vietnamese restaurant. The customer service is very quick, and they treat you like family. The atmosphere is full of beautiful paintings and plants that are hand picked by the owner. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was having a craving for pho and stumbled across this place on Yelp. Since I live pretty close by I figured I’d give it a shot. Came at 1pm on a Tuesday and was promptly seated. As I was eating by myself I found that my eyes kept wandering and noticed the place is fairly clean. I ordered the steak and meatball soup and the flavor of the broth was really good! I will be trying other items on the menu in the future as I will definitely be back!

First time trying it tonight and it was delicious! Even before we opened anything it smelt so yummy! We loved the to go containers and the amount of meat that was included. The spicy sauce was a perfect addition! It really kicked up my shrimp pho. My daughter loved the egg roles and my son loved the rice. We will definitely be back!

They did an awesome job with the BBQ Pork Butter Noodles (on the right in my photo) - one of the most delectable dishes I've ever had! The BBQ Chicken Fried Rice (left side of photo), Thai milk tea, and chocolate-tasting Thai Iced Coffee (not pictured) were great as well. Shout out to CuOng for his friendly service!

Tucked into the cozy Larkfield Center, What’s the Pho delivers a satisfying and well-rounded Vietnamese dining experience. The bright and welcoming atmosphere immediately sets the tone for a pleasant meal, whether you’re dining solo, with friends, or—like us—bringing along a charming doll companion . We started with fresh spring rolls—stuffed generously with shrimp, lettuce, vermicelli, and herbs, all wrapped in delicate rice paper. They came with a classic peanut hoisin dipping sauce that was rich and nutty without overpowering the freshness of the rolls. Next up were the crispy egg rolls, golden and piping hot, served with a tangy nước chấm dipping sauce. Crunchy on the outside and flavorful on the inside, they’re a must-try appetizer. The highlight was the pho—a steaming bowl of savory broth, aromatic with spices, filled with tender cuts of beef, rice noodles, and a generous scattering of green onions and herbs. The broth had depth and clarity, clearly simmered with care. It’s comfort in a bowl, perfect for any time of day. We also tried two rice and vermicelli combo dishes: • The grilled pork and shrimp over vermicelli, topped with a crispy egg roll and a side of fish sauce, was full of texture and smoky flavor. • The grilled pork and egg with rice offered a hearty, protein-packed plate with great balance between salty grilled meat and the clean, fluffy rice. Each dish was well-prepared, fresh, and generously portioned. Service was fast and friendly, and the colorful interior gave off a casual and cheerful vibe. Whether you’re craving pho, grilled meats, or fresh rolls, What’s the Pho hits the spot. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the Santa Rosa area!

A must try in Sonoma county. I like to think I’m pretty versed in eating phó. Been to Vietnam twice have lots of friends that make phó. But this place is at the top of the heap for sure! It Is some of the best I’ve ever had. The curry is also amazing. can’t beat the hospitality or the food. Come see for yourself you will not be disappointed!!

Love this place. Have been getting pho from here for a few years now, I've never been let down. Tried their chili oil that is made in house and it is delicious, wonderful toasty flavors and not overly spicy (I love spicy). I've also had the grilled pork fried rice and that is amazing as well! Friendly staff that create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere (from someone who sufferes a bit of social anxiety). Highly recommend this restaurant!
